You all should be expelled and ashamed that YOUR demands that most ALL of the rest of NYU students could not care less about has cost the rest of the community access to a popular resource at NYU. Kimmell is a place for all students, not just you.
and clearly YOU speak for all students. i think these students are representing themselves. did YOU do some sort of survey and find out what every NYU student thinks? i didn’t think so.
No, YOU shut the building down. Get the fuck out so I can eat my non-vegan pizza.
Your demands are unfocused and unrealistic, you do not represent the voice of the students, you were never elected or appointed to this position of power that you have seized: your methods are entirely undemocratic, yet you shout democracy. You say your school: I say our school, our building, get out.
Amen to that! It’s so ridiculous and selfish that a few people decided to make the rest of our lives difficult. I was unable to access my instruments today which are my livelihood. What if I had a gig this morning? Don’t they have classes to go to? If they had actual concerns maybe they should have agreed to the talks the administration offered last night.
AGREED.
I totally agree with the above post. How can you be proud of taking away the privileges of your fellow students to access the Kimmel Center? People like me don’t agree with you, but then say that you speak on behalf of all the students of NYU. I’ll give you one thing: I do think that _some_ of your demands are legit. But what the hell does Gaza have anything to do with NYU?
I play the trumpet and have a recital coming up very soon. If this news means what I think it means, then I won’t be able to practice as I need to, since my trumpet is locked up at Kimmel. And it would be all your fault.
