Then I remember I came to NYU because their Educational Theatre program is one of the best in the world. I also came because NYU alumni recommended the university highly, and all the while they complained about the lack of student aid at the school. Question: Why should I not attend a school that is the best in the field I am studying due to lack of finances? I thought NYU's acceptance policy was equal opportunity for all. If I and others who truly can't afford it here were to go elsewhere or have to incur massive debt to attend, then NYU is truly not an institution for all except those who can pay for it.
